A Comprehensive, Patient-Centered Review of Contraception for the Clinical Practitioner() The specific objective of this course, and the videos contained herein, is to comprehensively review every category of female based and every category of male based contraception from a patient-centered perspective. The target for this course includes primary care physicians, Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Nurse practitioners and physician assistants working in primary care or women's health. This course is directed both towards trainees as well as professionals in practice who need updating of their knowledge. The over-arching goal of this course is to improve the ability of practitioners to comprehensively counsel patients presenting to them for guidance in selecting a method of contraception. Our hope is that this video can improve health literacy regarding contraception and can facilitate better informed consent.
